- have you thought about starting your video with shots (like maybe the driving shots?) before the actual video starts? could be a way of tying in the 2 worlds, foreshadowing the ending? - I like the mix of imagery for starting shots - think about AE transitions that 'up' the standard a bit - Phoebe on stage not singing where she is walking around is a bit clumsy / awkward. Maybe look at another shot to interject there? or glitchy effects to layer over so this is a bit more visually interesting? Maybe superimposing a close up of her face / her singing? You could really play around with layers here - nice blackout to match song - during singing on stage shots - do you have other shots to chop/change into these? Keeps it more visually interesting. Same singing just different perspectives/ shots - nice black and blue lighting to tie in with lyrics - you singing on stage needs something else cut in with that to keep it moving - nice having the 2 shot when Phoebe joins you singing - nice change of shot on the beat to start the chorus - shot is potentially too long. Those movements look natural in short bursts. As a long shot, looks a bit awkward (do you have close-ups or other shots to interject here?) - shot of Phoebe walking in road needs to be cut slightly earlier (you can see camera tilt to end the shot) - nice effect jumping between 2 shots back and forth as song ramps up to last chorus - have you thought about making some of the 'flashbacks' slow motion? Where Tracy and Amone are spinning or running, these could be slowed down and have a nice effect on the story? - Colour grading - maybe try get all those flashback moments to have that golden glow that the indoors shot of Tracy and Amone on couch, has?
