You have some insightful commentary and analysis on the digipack cover but not enough for a higher grade.
In terms of mise-en-scene, not just what imagery is used but size of images in relation to each other, fonts used, placement on objects in relation to the artist in the picture. Costume choice, body language, shot type, props used).
I feel like you touch on some of these elements but not enough DETAIL or depth of analysis.
Things like the font being like engraved gold, what does this tell us about the THEME of the album or the way Bruno Mars is portraying himself as an artist? If this is all part of BRANDING, how is this artist branding himself?
Comment on aspects like
- posture and pose of artist
- images in relation to each other
- image size on cover (what is taking centre stage / what is breaking typical conventions of 'star image' and why?
- what costume is used (details!) and why? What themes do these reinforce?
- What is the overall style / themes/ mood and tone that is communicated?
- important elements like sunglasses concealing his face / gold chains used etc.
